To close out a monster year in support of blistering sophomore record Visions Of A Life, London rock quartet Wolf Alice have announced a trio of shows to wrap up the album cycle with celebratory ‘parties’.
Formed in 2010 as a duo of frontwoman Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie, the group’s line-up expanded in 2012 to roll bassist Theo Ellis and drummer Joel Amey into the fold. Debut record My Love Is Cool launched them into the stratosphere, landing them in front of massive crowds across iconic venues and festivals.
2017’s Visions Of A Life was another stand-out record and is up for this year’s Mercury Music Prize alongside records from Florence + The Machine, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Jorja Smith. It also gained interest from the likes of Foo Fighters, who brought them along to the inaugural CalJam festival in California before taking them along on their Concrete And Gold tour including a massive show at the London Stadium, and Liam Gallagher who brought the along to his massive Finsbury Park show this summer.
Wolf Alice play Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse, recently acquired by the Academy Music Group, on 18th December before winding up with not one but two massive hometown shows at London’s Brixton Academy.
