Barclaycard’s British Summer Time festival packed its first punch for 2018 with the announcement of the formidable Roger Waters as headliner for Friday 6 July.

The Hyde Park show will feature highlights from Pink Floyd’s seminal albums such as Wish You Were Here and The Wall, along with work from his new album Is This The Life We Really Want?

The show forms part of Roger Waters’ Us + Them tour, named after the track from the multi-million selling The Dark Side of The Moon. The tour will be his first European venture since The Wall Live (2010-2013).

Famous for his theatrical spectaculars, the BST team seem determined to keep raising the bar with the quality and diversity of artists at this annual event. 2017’s BST featured artists including Green Day, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Killers and Phil Collins.

The Us + Them tour is currently travelling through North America and will include five UK dates next year:

29 June – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
2 July – Echo Arena, Liverpool
3 July – Manchester Arena
6 July – BST, Hyde Park, London
7 July – Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
