Scots rock trio Biffy Clyro have announced the release of their first acoustic album in the shape of a live MTV Unplugged session, recorded at London’s fabulous Roundhouse venue last November.

The set covered material from across their catalogue from early b-side Breatheher, hits Bubbles and Many Of Horror to latest album Ellipsis single Re-Arrange. It also presented the Kilmarnock-based rockers’ stripped-back rendition of Beach Boys classic God Only Knows to the North London crowd. New song Different Kind Of Love also featured in the set.

As well as announcing the release of the album and accompanying DVD, the group will embark on 14-date European acoustic tour, presenting these stripped-back renditions of their songs live to a wider audience, including stops at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, Manchester’s Opera House and London’s fabulous Royal Albert Hall.
