Singer-songwriter Bandini presents his latest single, Late Night Show.
Born and bred in Italy and London-based, Bandini is an exciting contemporary artist who was raised on jazz, blues and the art of storytelling and songwriting from an early age. He began showcasing his talent by busking on the London streets before building a presence on the open mic circuit with his individual blend of acoustic jazz and blues and distinctive vocals.
Following the release of his version of the Dr John classic, Such a Night, last year, a full-house Sofar Sounds concert and a sold out launch gig at London’s Jamboree in February, Late Night Show is now available to download.
Inspired by the story of a night out in the effervescent streets of London, Late Night Show is the first single from the upcoming album Barflies, produced by renowned UK soul artist Camelle Hinds (former bass player with The Style Council amongst others). It’s undoubtedly a get-up-and-dance track and through Bandini’s re-imagining of fusion music, it successfully incorporates jazz, blues, rock and gypsy into a unique and enchanting single.
Bandini, whose sound is described as ‘organic New Orleans gypsy blues pop’ is about to embark on a series of gigs (see below). His performances are described as an event, rather than simply a gig, and he will be supported by his full-10 piece band.
With his unique sound and enigmatic and theatrical stage performances, Bandini is quickly becoming one of the most relevant emerging acts today.
Watch The Making of Barflies below, a series of videos produced by Seven Eight studio that presents the creative process behind the album and all the people who collaborated to it.
