The sisters three – HAIM – have just announced the UK and European leg of their Sister Sister Sister tour, hitting up venues on these shores throughout June. HAIM will be out in support of sophomore album Something To Tell You, which dropped last summer following a triumphant and sun-soaked set at Glastonbury Festival. The sisters returned to the UK to play a surprise album launch show at London’s Electric Ballroom before going on to play massive, energy-packed sets at Reading and Leeds festivals.
The Californian sisters – Danielle, Este and Alana – returned to the UK once again last week, to London’s Brixton Academy to collect their NME award, winning Best International Group, beating the likes of Foo Fighters, The Killers and Paramore to the punch.
HAIM kick off their 15-leg European tour hitting up Barcelona’s Primavera Festival following a massive 21-leg US tour, which includes a slot at dual-weekender, Californian festival, Coachella. The UK & Ireland leg will kick off at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on June 10th, finishing up at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace on Friday June 15th before the sisters move on to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo before winding things up at Lisbon’s Rock In Rio festival.
