Former Oasis man Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds outfit have been announced as the final act to be added to for this year’s Nocturne Live concert series, which returns to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire in June. This follows the release of Gallagher’s third record with his High Flying Birds – Who Built The Moon? – which was released in November, peaking at #1 on the UK album charts and has already been certified Gold.

The moniker for Noel Gallagher’s solo, post-Oasis career, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have produced three massive albums to date and the group’s live shows always mix the 50-year-old’s newer material with Oasis classics – both those originally sung by Gallagher senior and the hits made famous by the voice of his younger brother Liam, but all written by Noel.

The High Flying Birds touring band consists of former Oasis guitarist Gem Archer, former Oasis session pianist Mike Rowe, former Oasis drummer Chris Sharrock and The Zutons bassist Russell Pritchard.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds join an already stellar line-up for 2018’s Nocturne Live series with Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Gary Barlow, Elvis Costello, The Waterboys and Nick Lowe on the line-up for the four day event, headlining the 10,000-capacity Great Court on Friday June 15th

Nocturne Live Director Ciro Romano says of this year’s series: “We’re confident that the line-up for this year’s Nocturne is our strongest to date. In Nile Rodgers, Elvis Costello, Gary Barlow and Noel Gallagher we have four true giants of the music world, each offering something different but all undeniably world class. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Palace in June.”
