A rain soaked day on the Saturday didn’t deter more people from arriving at Boardmasters although tents and marquees were now seriously in demand. The noticeable increase in capacity ensured that all areas of the festival site were now busy and Boardmasters very own half tent, half local pub, the Keg & Pasty suddenly became the hottest seat in town. The musical side of Cornwall’s landmark festival Boardmasters kicked off on Friday 9th August and immediately benefited from some fine British weather. Jake Bevan went along to review and Simon Jay Price took the pictures.
