Since their debut release in early 2009, Laura Vane & The Vipertones has continued to electrify fans, deejays, radio stations, critics, record collectors and bloggers all over the world with their authentic yet modern and raw Soul Funk sound.

Their critically acclaimed first singles ‘Steam’ and ‘Am I Dreaming?‘ sent ripples through the European funk & soul community, shortly followed by their debut album. Add to that the success of the ‘Roof Off Remixes EP’ and the ‘Remixes & B-sides EP’, they are treading the same path as many have done before them: playing in both intimate half-lit hot-spots in the hearts of many cities and entertaining crowds of thousands at festivals (including iJazz, Moods, The Unique Soul Weekender, WOMAD festival Las Palmas, Blue Balls Festival, Tour The France, North Sea Round Town) to name a few.

 “Sugar Fix” their second album came out in 2011, this record is a feast for the listener, laying down a rich variety of styles and inspirations, and is a clear vibrant progression from the first album. Laura’s voice and song writing skills have never been stronger. Such personal lyrics combined with The Vipertones’ instrumental elegance results in a record over-spilling with strong and catchy songs.

Support for Laura Vane & The Vipertones has come hard and fast from all angles. From online bloggers and music forums worldwide, Dutch Radio 6 and well respected 3FM deejays like Giel Beelen and Gerard Ekdom, to BBC Radio deejays such as Jonathan Ross, Mark Lamarr and Craig Charles in the UK.
