Photography: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers @ RAH

What a thrill to photograph Tom Petty. One of my all time favourites and the cool dude friend everyone wants to have. I was actually nervous before hand and I contacted a few photographers who had been there on the previous date to ensure I got it right.

What a great show and great sound. First three songs and out.

Listen to Her Heart was the opener, followed by the theatrical You Wreck Me  and I Won’t Back Down. After I had gone  to file my pictures, I heard that Steve Winwood came on stage and did two songs with Tom Petty. I would have liked to photograph that!
