Lounge on the Farm is delighted to announce its final additions to the 2012 line-up. Lounge veteran Elliot Gleave aka Example will be returning for the fourth year for an exclusive set with DJ Wire alongside house duo Dusky and dapper rockabilly Willy Moon, who burst onto the scene last year with his unique brand of 50s swing-pop and an abundance of raw talent.
Fresh from throwing parties across the UK and as far afield as Austria for Snowbombing this year, Urban Nerds will be partnering with Lounge on the Farm for the second year in a row along with Rompa’s Reggae and Shack Club who will be spreading good vibes throughout the festival with their reggae and dancehall sound alongside the Raffle Mafia party collective.
The comedy tent will also see the additions of Howard Marks and Irish comedian Ardal O’Hanlon. One time drug smuggler and author of best-selling novel ‘Mr Nice’, Marks will be performing a cutting edge comedy set in which he tells his unique stories of dealing with the CIA, the Italian Mafia and MI6. Ardal O’Hanlon who is best known for playing the role of Father Dougal McGuire in Father Ted will also be headed to the farm armed with a hilarious set.

Lounge on the Farm was born in 2006 out of the desire to bring a unique slant to the UK summer festival market, and provide an event that promoted Kent and its many performers, musicians, traders and creative talents. It has been going from strength to strength ever since, winning “Best Line Up” at the 2009 UK Festival Awards and the “Sustainability” award in both 2008 and again in 2011 at the Greener Festival Awards. The gorgeous landscape of Merton Farm on which the festival is situated combines the very best elements for the ultimate British Summertime.
