It’s official, Country Music is the new Pop Music. With act after act seemingly emerging from nowhere and breaking onto the Nashville scene which is progressively extending not just across the US but across the pond to the UK, this is quickly becoming a crowded market. But Kelsea Ballerini isn’t worried, and we should take note as the Knoxville, Tennessee native prepares for the release of sophomore studio album Unapologetically.
Unapologetically follows her blow-away debut record The First Time, released in 2015, which went on to become certified Gold and spawned four hit singles including Platinum-certified singles Love Me Like You Mean It and Peter Pan alongside Dibs and Yeah Boy.
Legends is the first cut from Unapologetically, it’s huge cinematic video courtesy of director Jess Venable accompanying the delicately-crafted story-telling pop-country tune whetting appetites for what is to come when the new record lands. Check out the video for Legends below:
Following a huge arena tour opening for Thomas Rhett in the US, she’s stepping up a gear and heading out for a run of massive arena shows opening for multi-Grammy Award-winning Country trio Lady Antebellum across the UK and Ireland, wrapping up at London’s tent-venue The O2 Arena, a step up from her tiny Under The Bridge show adjacent to Chelsea Football Club in May.
Unapologetically is released on 3rd November through Sony Music.
