Vision: The Sherlocks, Was It Really Worth It

Vision: The Sherlocks, Was It Really Worth It

The Sherlocks release new single Was It Really Worth It? due for release March 17th. The video is directed by Aella Jordan-Edge and stars Kiersten Wareing (Fishtank, Eastenders, The Take) and newcomer Connor McCarron (Neds) following the dysfunctional couple’s relationship deterioration.

After a sold out UK Tour last September, Sheffield four-piece The Sherlocks are currently on their biggest ever headline UK & Ireland tour and have just announced that they will be supporting Rat Boy and DMA’S in April (dates below). The band, consisting of two sets of brothers, have been steadily building a solid live following and were the first unsigned band since Arctic Monkeys to sell out their local venue the Sheffield Leadmill.

With great support from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Annie Mac, Mistajam & Huw Stephens, this is a young band following in the great tradition of guitar groups from their area. The Sherlocks have drawn obvious comparisons from their influencers (The Jam, The Clash, Arctic Monkeys) but this is a band with unquenchable ambition intending to create their own unique sound and already captivating new audiences.

The Sherlocks are currently receiving rave reviews & selling out multiple venues on their headline tour (including venues such as Sheffield’s Foundry & Manchester’s Albert Hall)

The Sherlocks are Kiaran Crook (Lead vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Josh Davidson (Vocals/lead Guitar), Andy Davidson (Backing Vocals/Bass Guitar) and Brandon Crook (drums).

Dar Williams casts her eye over the plush scarlet sofa and mirrored walls of the bar at the back of Bush Hall, where we’re to do our interview and photographs. “It’s kind of Electric Ladyland!” she chuckles, as we sit down to discuss her latest tour of the UK - which has sold out, even without a new album Continue Reading
