Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist Nile Rodgers brings his FOLD Festival to the UK for three days in June. Curated and produced by Nile, Freak Out Lets Dance Festival is a music celebration spanning every genre.

The venue is Fulham Palace, a place in London  traditionally associated with the Bishop’s of London from Anglo-Saxon times to WWII,  it is also where you might get married or hire out the facilities to have a party.

Over the dates of 24th to 26th June a capacity crowd of 5,000 people will gather to watch Nile Rodgers and Chic, Beck, Labrinth, Alison Moyet, John Newman, Angie Stone and Grace.

Freak Out Festival started in 2015 in Riverhead, New York and featured a line up including Beck, Duran Duran, Chaka Khan and Keith Urban. Nile Rodgers started the group Chic in the early 70’s with Bernard Edwards and together they defined and shaped the disco era for most of that decade. Later Nile Rodgers wrote and produced music for Diana Ross, David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and B52’s to name but a few.

Fulham Palace has an extraordinary history and is not usually the type of grand building to host a festival in London but this year there are several festival’s taking place there for the first time, including FOLD and Caught By The River.

The weather appears to be heading for some clear skies and hot warm air, a great alternative to Glastonbury, the Euro’s, the Euro vote and rain, a big party is about to happen. Good Times!
